HDM Aluminum Go Kart Cart Racing Motor Oil Overflow Engine Breather Catch Tank Can

This listing is for one (1) Black Aluminum overflow bafffless catch can. The main use of this tank is in go kart racing, but can be used in other application requiring overflow protection such as bar stool racers, clones, motorcycles and other racing applications. The aluminum tank measure approximately 1 1/2" diameter and 4" long. It is tapped on both ends for 1/8" NPT. There is also a third 1/8 npt tapped hole near one end of the tank. This item is also grooved in two places on the diameter for use of hose clamps to secure it in place. The end ports can be used for access to internal cleaning of the tank as this is tank is not built for disassembly. It is typically mounted on a seat strut or possibly a nerf bar of a kart. Included with this tank are two hose clamps, a petcock, one 90 degree barb and one straight barb. The position of these fittings shown in the photo are for display only.Fittings willl be shipped loose for installation by the installer as needed. The packaging has been updated to protect the surface finish of the product. The barbs included accept a 1/4" hose (hose not included). Color of fittings and hose clamps may vary depending on stock levels. Fittings may be plastic or metal consider this if temperature is an issue. The tapped holes are a tapered thread and the fitting will not bottom out on the tank surface. Tank will be BLACK only with either gloss or matte finish depending on stock levels. This tank is intended for off road racing applications. Fittings are tappered thread. A thread compound or tape will need to applied to the fittings to ensure profit fit and seal. This product is designed for use in offroad sanctioned racing only. Racing is a dangerous sport and the fuels involved are highly volatile.
